MarchI hope everyone is having (or had, depending on when you read this) a fantastic, restful February break! I've lived vicariously through many of you with your social media vacation pictures! Whether you spent your week at the beach, in the mountains, with friends, with family, or just catching up on life, I hope it was a good one and you were able to practice some self-care! You all deserve it.
After a quick recruiting trip to the University of South Carolina, I am back in the office catching up on the "never ending TO-DO list". It is without a doubt each of you can relate! I would be remiss if I did not recognize the incredibly hard work of our custodial staff this week. While you guys were away, they have been cleaning floors, walls, bathrooms, classrooms, etc. all week for us. They are awesome and we are so fortunate! THANK YOU Pierre, Eva, Joy, and Jean! Again, I hope you are enjoying, or did enjoy, your break! As crazy as it may sound, March is next week! ~K |
As you guys may recall, we had shared at the beginning of the year how difficult it is to create a lunch schedule when classes exceed 24 (which many do). One way to resolve it, or make it easier, is to have bench seating in the café. I am excited to report that 5 months later, they arrived! We are hopeful that this will also alleviate the need for additional seating on the stage, as there should be plenty of pace at the tables for guests now. We ask that you help us to communicate this to our families. This is one less place for our custodial staff to have to clean daily.
*We do not anticipate any changes to the lunch schedule or tables for this school year. |

Friendly Reminder about pets at school
Friendly Reminder: If you bring your pet to school, please be sure that you bring a copy of their current shot records for us to keep on file. We totally understand that no one would bring a dog who is vicious and mean, but in the event of the unexpected, we will need this information. J Just give it to Kathy because keeps these on file for us. J
